Aprilskin Mummy Mud Mask!

I decided to add skincare products on this blog also! I’m so hyped to do so since I use a lot of Asian and indie products that you may want to try! Today I finally got around to trying the Mummy Mud Mask from Aprilskin. These are on sale for $3 each on Memebox until they run out or you can purchase them right here: APRIL SKIN Mummy Mud Facial Mask Sheet 21g x 5ea

I don’t know if it’s because I love creepy and spooky things but I love this packaging! What a cute little mummy! Whaaaa ~^^
This the back of the packaging. Not very helpful since it is in Korean. Have no fear! I’m going to show you step by step pictures! 🙂

What’s really neat about these is that it is a mud sheet mask that comes with the mud already on it! It has volcanic ash, witch hazel, and green tea extract in it. When it dries the mask does get tighter and feels pretty funny. Let’s start the pictures!

Step one: Clean and wash your face to get rid of any makeup, excess oil and dirt.
The instructions say after washing to apply a toner. I’m using the one from my Nomakenolife box from Hokkaido.
Okay. So I’m not going to lie, my initial reaction to this mask was, well, ew. Since it comes already in mud it did make a bit of a mess all over my sink and hands.
When I fully opened the mask package it was in two parts! One for the top and one for the bottom! I actually like because it is easier to put on and there’s less redo.
Here it is put on! It makes me look so different than without the mask! Yay!
Make sure that you put it on for 30 minutes or until fully dry!
This is how it looks dry after the 30 minutes! Spooky and super tight around my face! Super silly face!
The Mummy mask was super fun! It did make my skin feel really soft but left behind some mud on my face. Definitely had to take a shower afterward!

This was totally fun for me to try. If you like trying new things and being a bit spooky while drinking coffee and tea, test this out!
