Kat Von D Serpentina Palette Swatches!

Hi everybody! I actually went outside and enjoyed the weather today. I went to the mall and looked at clothing and other fun things. Did you all purchase the Aurora glow kit? I made sure to get mine so I promise swatches as soon as it arrives!

These swatches are for the Serpentina palette. This was limited edition and now it is sold out everywhere unless you are willing to pay $100+ on Amazon or ebay. This originally retailed for $45 on katvondbeauty.com and then later released at Sephora. I remember I stayed up until 3:00 AM for this beauty to launch and by 5:00 AM it was sold out. If you missed it, here is the palette.

Here’s the front of the palette. I love how simple it is yet makes a great impact with design.
Here’s the back of the palette. It has the name of the shades and information about the palette. I zoomed in on the serial number just in case somebody wants to buy one and needs to check authenticity.
Here’s the serial number for all your purchasing needs!
Here it is! There is a decent amount of looks and variety in this beautiful palette. The bright colored shadows look like jewels! The color scheme totally fits the colors of ancient Egypt! The Prophet shade is a gold loose powder that I promise I swatched!

If you noticed from the pictures, the palette is longer yet thinner. I don’t know how I feel about it but I think it fits the design well.
Here come the swatches! These were fun for me because of all the colors!

These are the first four shades. Bloodmilk is a very pretty dark red. Also a great company that has beautiful items. Check them out. Medusa is fantastic. Check out how great it looks swatched both ways! Ankh is a black shade with sparkle! It seems like this is a trend with most of the palettes that I swatch… not a bad one though! Queen is the last shade. Swatched beautifully and must say you could do a great eye look with Medusa, Queen and Ankh.
Here are the jewel shades! Scarab is my all-time favorite shade here! Look at how pretty Hiroglyph is here! Nile is the blue that you need. Venom is a beautiful matte purple that blends very well. The last one is the loose gold shade, Prophet. It wasn’t patchy and the glitter wasn’t all over the place.

This palette is beautiful. Seriously. If you need, please read the article about counterfeit cosmetics that I posted a while back and read before you buy!
