Makeup Geek X MannyMUA Eyeshadow Palette Swatches!

I’m so happy this palette came back one last time! I missed it before and was absolutely dying because of the colors and of course, Makeup Geek. And MannyMua. There are nine shades in this palette and they are a color scheme that works well with every skin tone. I believe I paid around $50 for mine and I have no regrets. This palette is heavily duplicated on third party sites so please be careful! I’ll also be describing how to spot a fake on this as we go along.

Here is the box it comes in and the front of the palette. The fakes are very light and not as holographic as the authentic one. I included the box because of the MannyMUA logo.
Here’s the back of the box and the palette. There’s a statement from Manny on the back of the box and the actual palette has a holographic metallic pink to silver sheen to it. The fake is just silver and shines.
Here’s the inside of the palette. It has a really nice mirror and the palette has some weight to it. In this palette, the shades are magnetized inside. In the fake, they’re glued inside and the eyeshadows absolutely stink of chemicals. For me, the smell alone can help with authenticity.

Since there are three shades in each row, I did swatch them like that. Also in fake palettes, the eyeshadow has no lasting power.

Here’s the first row of shades. I apologize that Beaches and Cream is almost the same color as my skin. The texture on these is amazing. They’re buttery, smooth and blend great. Artemis is a beautiful white shimmer shade. Luna is the softest shade in the world.
This row has two really nice matte shades for either a base or crease. I like to use Sora as a base. Frappe is a great crease shade and Cosmopolitan is a beautiful shimmer with a great texture.
This last row is my favorite in this palette. I love bold eye-catching colors and Insomnia does just that. It is a red base with emerald green sparkles that completely draws my eyes in. Mars is a beautiful matte red that I can’t get enough of. Like most reds, this does have a more chalky texture but it doesn’t lose anything from that. Aphrodite is a dark matte brown that blends great with any shade you pair it with.

There you have all your shades and swatches for this palette! Please make sure to check for dupes as you buy limited edition palettes!
