Lime Crime Venus Palette!

I’ll tell you the truth: I’m not a fan of the Velvetines. I’m sorry for any fans of this brand. But you don’t have to like everything a brand puts out. However, I love their eyeshadow palettes! They’re pigemented and buttery and have such nice shades! I bought Venus and Venus II as a bundle for $50. I’m not sure if they still offer it but grab it because it is a decent deal!

Here is the first Venus palette. I love the design of this one. So pretty.
Here’s the back of the palette. It says that this palette is vegan and cruelty-free. The serial number is on the back of you need to buy from a third party site. This palette is also duplicated a bunch and a fake says, ‘For the Venus in You’ instead of just ‘Venus’.
Here’s the inside of the palette! I love these pretty red and pink shades. They vary in type. There’s mattes and shimmer shadows. There’s also a really nice mirror 🙂

I’m going to swatch these by row for you guys! There are four for each row sooo let’s get started! Oh, if you do have a counterfeit, these shades did not hold up well and feel chalky.

Here’s the first row. There weren’t any that were super chalky. Creation is a gorgeous maroon matte shade.
Rebirth is everything! This is such a beautiful peach color that blends and applies wonderfully. The top shade, Icon, is a matte brown with a bit of gold shimmer in it. Muse is a nice deep red matte.

Okay, like I said, I love their eyeshadows. They are soft, buttery and apply nicely. If you’re looking for nice peach and red tones this would be a good bet for you.
