Ipsy Glambag September!

Hi friends! Sorry I’ve been MIA for a bit. With school starting and work, I’ve been kind of swamped but didn’t forget about you all! On Saturday I got my Ipsy bag and looked at all the awesome items that were in it. I was seriously impressed! Ready?

I loved this bag. It is black and studded. The zipper is gold and has two tassels with the “Ipsy” logo written on it.

This is a quick preview of all the items included in my bag this month. I think I made out pretty awesome this month with variety and quality of items 🙂

Here’s the front of the Boss Lady info card. It has a nice photo of Charlotte Cho of Soko Glam on it.

The back of the card has a bit of info about Charlotte Cho and how she included one of her favorite K-beauty products in this month’s Glambag.

I’m going to move on to the product pictures right now. There are also swatches included of the Colourpop shade and the Elizabeth Mott eyeshadow.

This is the front of Elizabeth Mott’s ‘Pop Goes the Shadow’ in shade ‘Gunmetal’. It has this really cute pop art feel to it and has the distribution information on there.

Here’s the inside of the eyeshadow casing. This shade is a pretty gray shimmer that is pretty nice in texture.

The second item is this organic nail polish by Adesse. This is my second one of their polishes and they apply great.

This side of the box has their website, distribution information, and states that they do not test on animals.

This side has the ingredient list and shows that this product is recyclable and flammable. Be careful!

This side states that this nail polish is free from DBP, Taluene, Camphor, Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, Parabens, Sulfates, Phthalates, Petrochemicals, GMOs, Triclosan, and Triphenyl Phosphates.

The nail polish comes in a pretty bottle with their lotus design and a black top.

The back of the bottle actually has everything summarized that was on the box. Which is completely awesome!

This shade is called, ‘Deception’ and is a pretty beige-gray shade. It also features the ingredient list.

I wanted to show you guys what the brush looked like and the consistency of the nail polish. It is a bit thinner than other polishes but gets the job done in two coats.

This product is the skin care product that Charlotte Cho included in this bag. Skin Food’s Egg White Perfect Pore cleansing foam. I’m so curious about this. I enjoy K-beauty products a lot and hope this one loves up to the hype.

This product states that it completely removes makeup and leaves a smooth and clear complexion.

Yay! I know a lot of the Ipsy users complain about getting brushes. You can send them all to me. Brushes can be expensive and I’m so happy to get some in my Glambag. Xo.

This is Luxie’s 207 Medium Angled Shading brush. This brush is cute and fluffy. 🙂

Here’s a shot of the bristles with the flash on so you can see the gradient of colors and how packed the brushes are.

The last product is this Lippie Stix by Colourpop. This is an exclusive shade that Ipsy subscribers voted on. Yay!

This side of the box has the distribution information, says it is recyclable and is a cruelty-free product.

The bottom side of the box shows a preview of the shade and it is a super-matte shade.

I love how simple the packaging is for their products.

This lip product applied very smooth and evenly. I love this shade so much. 🙂

The last picture for you all are my swatches of the eyeshadow and lip product! Enjoy!

The eyeshadow looks completely different based on the finger (F) and brush (B) swatch. The finger swatch is more shimmery where the brush swatch is more matte and blended out. The Colourpop shade is a bright coral pink shade that has no odor and applies very smooth.

I’m curious, what did you all get in your bags this month? Xo.

Ipsy August Glambag!

Hi friends! I received my Glambag over the weekend and wanted to share it with you all! The theme this month was Good Vibes. As with the current events happening, I wish you all safety and good vibes to get you through. I know it doesn’t mean much, but positivity and love are everything.

Okay, soooo Ipsy has a new money back program. I’ll go into it as much as I can.

To be honest, I did not want to get up and take pictures at my table so my fox blanket will be the background today. This was one of the bag designs out of three. The big pamphlet behind the bag details the new reward program.

This is the front cover of the reward program booklet. It has Gabriel Zamora and a pink poodle on it. It also says Lavish Life on the side. To be honest, I don’t know much about Gabriel, I don’t pine and obsess over people on Instagram so I have no clue as to what he does or has done. Sorry.

These pages describe the Ipsy Cash and how it works. Basically, you earn cash back when you purchase from your favorite makeup brands and you can get the rebate in the mail or through PayPal.

I included these pages as examples of which brands are available in this program. MAC, Smashbox, and Bobbi Brown are three major brands included in this new service.

Next, I have my five products for the month and I included swatches of the eyeliner and the eyeshadow. Enjoy!

I was pretty happy with the variety this month, there was a Glamour Dolls brush, green tea moisturizer, The Balm eyeshadow, a new brand eyeliner, and a First Aid Beauty face cleaner. I love that cleaner! I think I first tried it before I started blogging and missed it dearly! Welcome home, cleaner!

The first item is the First Aid Beauty Deep Cleanser with red clay. This is safe for sensitive skin, removes excess oils, unclog pores, and purified skin. This sample is one ounce of product.

The back of the product has the ingredient list and you need to avoid contact with your eyes. This is allergy tested and hypoallergenic. It says to use this only twice a day, and to use it just lather it together and gently rub onto your face. After you cover your face, just rinse. Ta T’s!

This is a moisturizer from A-True Spring Green Tea Watery Calming Cream. That isb a mouthful but smells amazing. This cream is 70% Black Tea water and it states that this heritage is from France and rediscovered in Korea. Sounds epic.

The back of the sample has the ingredient list and the directions. After you clean your face, massage this on your face and neck. This sample is 1.5 ounces and is made in Korea.

The third product is this rosy blending eyeshadow brush. I love these brushes and they’re so affordable. I snagged one of the Lisa Frank angled brushes before and wow. Such fluffy. So blend.

Here’s a pretty close-up shot of the bristles. This brush reminds me of the blending brush from Sugarpill. Or maybe I just like white and pink synthetic bristles. 🙂

This is a new precision tip eyeliner by Steve Laurant. This is waterproof and does not fade to grey. Yay!!!

There’s the tip of the eyeliner. It glides and applies easily and does not run or smear. I enjoyed this.

This is a sample shadow from The Balm Voyage Volume Two. I love the design for the sample shadow.

This eyeshadow has a 12 month shelf-life and has a lot number of 16L1. This side of the sample has the website, distribution information and the ingredients.

The shade I received was Willkommen. This is a buttery and shimmery brown shade. It is super pigmented.

Next, I have a finger swatch and a test of the new eyeliner for you all! Check these out!

I seriously love this liner. I have such problems finding actual waterproof eyeliners that last. I’m so happy I got the opportunity to test this one out! You can see how pigmented the eyeshadow is also. I’m impressed. However, it is nothing new to the eyeshadow game.

There you all have it! Next post will be about Sephora Play and their August bag! Xo!

Ipsy July Glambag!

Hi friends! Today I’m going to show you all what I got in my Ipsy Glambag for July! This month’s bag is too cute. It features Sanrio character Gudetama.

He is such lazy. So cute. ❤
For this month’s Glambag, they focused on items and products that help you take it easy. Mine also included an extra item because I redeemed points. I’ve included it in my review 🙂 let’s get started!

This bag is too adorable! I’m probably going to keep this forever! My ultimate favorite was from last year’s October bag. Spooky.
This is the back of the bag. It features Gudetama’s eggy butt cheeks! Like… how awkwardly adorable!
Here is a quick photo of everything that was included in my Glambag. There was a nice variation of products this month.

I’m going to start breaking this down right now.

This first item was my bonus item that I redeemed with points. This is Lancome’s Definicils mascara. This mascara’s formula is a lengthening and defining mix. Your eyelashes are supposed to be natural, yet noticeable.
This is the back of the Lancome package. It has the ingredient list and this mascara features Cils Booster XL to condition and boost your lashes. This also has a warning that says not to dilute your mascara with saliva? Like, why would somebody do that. The audacity.
Inside the Lancome sample pack it shows a before and after use picture. It also states that this mascara brand has been #1 for eight years.
This is the mascara wand. The packaging is a tube that reminds me of a toothpaste tube.
This is a sample of Ofra Cosmetics eyeshadow. The website is on the bottom of the package.
This eyeshadow is called ‘Victory’. You can put this eyeshadow in a Z Palette or any magnetic palette. I know Z Palette was very problematic and I understand why people no longer support them. This side of the package has the ingredient list.
Here is what the eyeshadow looks like out of the package. It has a pretty copper gold shimmer to it when swatched.
The third item is this Illuminator brush. Apparently this brush can be used for almost everything. In the forums, a lot of people use it for highlighter, eyeshadow or concealer.
This is a close-up of the bristles. It is densely packed and so fluffy 🙂 fluuufffyyyy.
This is the concealer by Trèstique. First, I love this pencil for applying concealer in nice small dots for blending. The bad news is that this completely is not my shade.
The shade that this concealer came in was called ‘Bisque’. When swatched in my skin, it was bright orange and I wasn’t a fan. 😦
The next item is Tarte’s Deep Dive cleansing gel. It tried this last night in the shower and I loved it. The smell is very earthy and organic. It wasn’t harsh on my face and left it feeling super clean.
This is the back of the Tarte cleaner bottle. There is a barcode and just some copyright information on the product. Tarte’s website is also on the bottom of the bottle.
This hand cream is by Ahava. There is water from the dead sea formulated inside. For a sample, this is a decent size and fits nicely in a purse. You get 1.3 fluid ounces of product in this guy.
This hand lotion is vegan and cruelty-free! Yes! This product is also approved for sensitive skin! It was allergen tested and is Paraben free! The ingredient list and company information is also here. 🙂

I have two swatches for you all. I did an applicator swatch of the concealer and a finger swatch of Ofra’s ‘Victory’. I’m sorry there’s no brush swatch… I forgot. 😭 I’m begging for ultimate forgiveness!

Here are the two swatches of the products that I received this month. As you can see, the concealer is a bit too orange. It had a nice texture and wasn’t too thick, just the wrong shade. ‘Victory’ is a beautiful shimmery copper shade. This texture is soft and buttery.

There you all have it! I was overall very happy with this month’s bag. I like when I get other products to try other than the usual makeup items. Xo

Ipsy Bag (March!)

Hey! I’m so excited to review my glam bag this month! I don’t know if its just me but ipsy has really upped their game in the past few months! I’ve had this for about two years and I adore this subscription! Let’s get started with the cute bag this month.

Ipsy March Bag
I love how big this bag is this month! The pink is subtle and really screams spring 🙂

There were five items that I have this month to photo dump for you!

and most importantly, the bag came with this little card that says,

Never forget that we are all beautiful.
