Apocalyptic Beauty Blogger Package!

Hi loves! I just got home from vacation and I finally updated by blog! I’ve been creeping on Etsy recently for eyeshadows and fun beauty products that are affordable and also deserve recognition for awesome homemade products. My creeping led me to Apocalyptic Beauty’s store and she offered a Blogger package that I ordered that came with six sample bags and one full-size eyeshadow of your choice!

Aren’t the shades beautiful?! I was so excited when this package arrived! Yay!

Here store has a lot of affordable and pigmented beauty products. She also offers blushes, highlighters and perfumes. I will be a repeat customer after this. One thing I also liked is how each product is named after fun pop culture and horror references. It makes it more fun for me 🙂

I chose Horrorshow as my full-size product. This is close-up shot of the product in the pan. It is a light pumpkin orange with gold amd silver sparkles in it.

I have included swatches of each shade and they are labeled by name, finger swatch and brush swatch. Enjoy!

The first set of swatches are these three. Horrorshow is a light orange-peach with gold and silver sparkles. It swatched nicely on both tests and has a lot of pigment. The next shade is They’re Coming to Get You, Barbara. This shade is a violet that has an emerald green shift that when swatched, has dark red pigments. It reminds me of My Pretty Zombie’s Everything Looks Better on a Meat Hook. The third shade is Vogon Poetry. I love this shade so much. This is a nicely pigmented and swatchable bright green that has a lot of shimmer and almost a yellow tint to it. I’m so impressed!
This last row has four shades in it. The first shade is Polly Plague. This a bright violet shade that has a subtle sparkle to it. The Amber of the Moment is the next shade. This shade is a very light beige that has a lot of gold shimmer to it. It would make a lovely lid shade or an inner corner shade. Thoroughly Spoiled is a dark purple mixed with a light gray shimmer. This shade has so many fun color shifting properties, I could cry. The last shade, Planet Queen is a teal matte shade that has teal sparkles for an extra kick. Love.

To be honest, I was not disappointed with anything in this blogger package. Please PLEASE support this wonderful etsy user! Xo

Looxi Beauty Charmed Swatch!

Hi readers! This is going to be a quick post today because I finally hit 30! Happy birthday to me! I managed to grab Charmed when it was back in stock last week! This pan only cost $5 and is so versatile. Most people use this as a highlighter also!

This is a pretty purple and duochrome into a greenish blue tint. This shade is super pretty and with it being vegan, it definitely appeals to me!

This is the card that came with the pan. The shade is in the middle of the card acting like one of the Os.
This is a beautiful closeup shot of Charmed. I really wanted to capture the shimmer and different colors in this pan.

For the swatch of this pretty shade, I did a finger and brush swatch! Enjoy!

I took the swatch with flash enabled so you can see the color shift. You can see how pretty the shift is with this eyeshadow.

There you guys go! I hope you love it as much as I have! Xo!

Kat Von D Lolita Eyeshadow and Blush!

Hi friends! For an early birthday present I bought myself Kat Von D’s super limited Lolita eyeshadow and blush. I bought it for $19 and cashed in some points and picked out the birthday gift. This eyeshadow single doubles as a blush that I’ve swatched for you and took a bunch of pictures. This is vegan and cruelty-free.

Here is the product in the box. It is a small cardboard box that has a pretty silver lettering on it.

The back of the box has a more detailed description of what the product is in different languages and ingredients listed.

The bottom of the box has the barcode and has the vegan stamp of approval! Yay! There are symbols showing that it is eye and face safe and also recyclable.

I was feeling pretty artsy with this so I added my O2 plant and my Cthulhu pop figure. The product is a beautiful dusty chestnut rose type of shade.

These are the swatches of Lolita. It blends out so well! I’m excited to use it today! I’m not too sure how much to use for blush so that will have to be played around with a bit.

There you have it, the beautiful eyeshadow single, Lolita. I’m pretty sure they are going to release it again in the future but only time will tell. Xo

Fantasy Allure Liquid Lipstick Swatch!

Hi friends! Today I decided to swatch Fantasy Allure’s only liquid lipstick shade, ‘Enchanted Rose’. This was originally a kickstarter campaign from last year. If you donated a certain amount of money you received the lipstick and a fun gift. I did the $30 donation for the lipstick and a compact mirror.

They describe this shade as a ‘deep red with gold glitter’. It also has a faint vanilla scent and completely dries down in about three minutes. It is pretty long lasting but if you are eating, you may need to reapply. This is also vegan and cruelty-free! Yay!

I like this shade and seriously wish there were more colors. I know they stated in their campaign that if they raised more money than they were asking, they would release more colors. I’m still silently hoping it happens.

Here is what the tube looks like for the lipstick. I love the crown gold topper and it is a clear tube so you can see the gold sparkles in the red lipstick.
Here is the bottom of the tube. It has a very pretty rose design in the middle with the name of the shade. There is also the LLC of the company, the lot number and the location where it was made.
Here is what the applicator looks like. It has a hard doe foot. It is a good applicator and grabs a decent amount of product for coverage.

For the swatches, I did an arm swatch for you all and then a lip one so you can see it applied!

Here is what the arm swatch looks like. It is definitely a red and you can see how subtle the sparkles are yet so pretty.
Here is the lip swatch of Enchanted Rose. I love how dramatic and so subtle it is. This doesn’t dry out your lips and it stays for a decent amount of time.

There you guys have it! This is for sale on their website along with some fairy claw thingies. Grab both if you Like! Xo

Jeffree Star Cosmetics Holiday 2016 Liquid Lipsticks!

Hi friends! Sorry I got my posts up so late today but my daughter is finishing up Kindergarten and I had some random things to do today. This came out last year around the Christmas holiday. It retailed for $99. In Jeffree Star Cosmetics’s Holiday Collection there were seven shades that could be bought together or separately for $18 each. If you have been reading my posts for a bit now you know that Jeffree’s lipsticks are my go to. His new Summer Collection is launching June 24th. So before that launches, I wanted to put up more of his shades.

Here is the collection all tigether looking cute. I purposely separated Deceased and Sagittarius just because they are so close in color.
Here are the bottoms of the lipsticks. They have the name of the lipstick, how many ounces it has (0.19 ounces, and the company information.
Here is what the applicator looks like for each lipstick. This guy is a pointed doe foot that has a nice flex to it which makes application smoother.

As usual for you all, I have arm swatches of each shade and a nice collage of all the lip swatches! Enjoy!

Here are the first four shades. Chrysanthemum is a light pink with tiny gold sparkles in it. This is a very cute spring shade that is very flattering and subtle. Deceased reminds me of Makeup Monsters and their Wolfsbane shade. It is a greige gray shade that is pigmented and lasts very long. Crocodile Tears is an awesome matte dark green that I love. It isn’t for everyday wear but I do enjoy when people ask about it. Checkmate was named by Nathan. This neon red smells like cherries and is very bright. Sometimes this shade has some flaking but that’s after a few hours.
Here are the last three shades in the collection. Sagittarius is a light purple mixed with gray shade. I love this one. It has great pigmentation and long wear. Designer Blood is the exact dark cranberry red as Unicorn Blood but when this color dries, it has a subtle gold shift to it. The last shade, Pumpkin Pie is a burnt orange with pink and purple sparkles in it.  I’m such a fan of orange lipsticks.

Here is the collage of the lip swatches!

As you can see here this collection has a very nice variation of color. I love different shades especially if they’re versatile. Xo

Ghoulish Delights Bath Shop Light of Carol Anne Brightening Facial Mask!

Hi friends! Happy Memorial Day! We celebrated this weekend to honor our veterans to served. Today, with the rain we’re having means I’m stuck inside with massive sunburn to make a post. Haha. I decided to review another mask by the awesome Ghouslish Delights Bath Shop. This one is the Light of Carol Anne Brightening Facial Mask. This was the first mask I ever tried by this brand. It is the same prices as the others, $9.50. This mask is also vegan, cruelty-free and all natural. I enclosed all the pictures to show what it looks like, texture and how to apply!

Here is the front of the jar. It has the logo, the name of the mask and what it does. This one is a brightening mask. This product is also 2 ounces.
Here is a side shot of the warning. It had a blood splatter pattern that I still managed to get wet and basically ruin the design. I’m sorry! This is to make sure that the user is aware that this is for external use only and if you are pregnant or nursing to ask a physician before use.
Here is the ingredient list on the other side of the jar. There is Kaolin Clay with a bunch of natural plant powders. This is the side that you will see the how-to for using the mask.
Here’s what the mask looks like inside the jar. It is a golden beige color. As you can see, I have more of this than Dagon’s Tribute so in the picture, you can see more texture and detail.

The next couple of pictures is going to show how much I usually use for a treatment, how much water I use to mix it and then how to apply.

This is about the amount that I usually per treatment. I would say this is about two tablespoons.
This is about how much water I use. I would say this is about a tablespoon. I like my masks a bit thick so I use less water than the equal part ratio.
Here is how it all looks mixed together. It has a nice floral and earthy scent and definitely a bit thicker than most people like.
For the first step and a very important step, please make sure that you clean your face. Use a makeup remover wipe or anything. Just to get rid of extra dirt and oil.
Here is what the mask looks like when first applied. It is a nice clay consistency and applies smoothly.
I kept this mask on for 30 minutes. It says 15 to 20 but because of how thick I apply it, it needs some extra time.
Here is what it looks like after 30 minutes. You can see the mask is very dry in a bunch of areas and starting to crack.
I wish I had photos to show you of washing the mask off but I tend to multitask when I can and I take my mask off in the shower. But you can see how much brighter and smooth my skin looks.

There you guys have it with this post. Please give this brand a try if you’re looking for another great vegan and cruelty-free brand to add. Xo
